Frequently Asked Questions

What is the age limit? A Little Journey Summer Camp is an exclusively outdoor summer camp for ages 6 years old to 18 years old. Some campers that are 15 year olds and up, can be considered for junior camp counselors if they are interested. Campers will be grouped into mixed age groups but close to children their same age.

Drop off/Pick up and times to be aware of? A Little Journey Summer Camp will be from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Drop off/paperwork will be from 8 am to 8:30 am so please be sure to arrive with time to get your child settled in for the day. Please be sure to pick your child up between 4:00 pm and 4:30 pm each day.

What to bring to camp? Campers will need to be sure to bring a water bottle with water, a morning snack, lunch, and an afternoon snack. We will have water refill stations for campers to refill their water bottles throughout the day. Please be sure to sunscreen your child before they arrive at camp and send sunscreen with them. We will aid in re-sunscreening children after lunch. A light jacket may be needed on some of those cooler mornings or rainy afternoons. A backpack is required to keep your child’s stuff together and organized. Please be sure to label your child’s items. A Little Journey Summer Camp is not responsible for lost or misplaced items, however, we will do our best to get items returned to their rightful owners. Please bring any necessary inhalers, epi-pens and other medications that may be required of your child and put necessary information in the BrightWheel app for all camp counselors to be aware of. We will also have medical alert forms at drop off.

BrightWheel? BrightWheel is an app that A Little Journey Summer Camp will be using for camper information, parent contact, camp payments, and a way for camp counselors to share photos of your campers day with you! If you are unfamiliar with BrightWheel, it is very user friendly and an easy way for you to contact camp counselors as well.
